Made of an unknown hardwood discovered in a woodshop far, far away... this playful bowl has a mysterious past. Presently, the bowl retains its faceplate mounting block because not every conception is immaculate! Stained first with Beets, the bowl glows with a warm red tone. Intuitive and immediate strokes of a Steel Wool and Vinegar stain interrupt the hand-turned cup as if ink itself had been brushed onto its surface with a calligraphy brush. Finally, a food safe oil (Tried & True Danish Oil) enriches the stains and adds an edible shine.
