Made of Cherry, this Classic Bowl is the top! When exotic woods, natural stains and fun forms carry you away, it can be too easy to forget the age-old tradition of classic bowl turning. Sometimes the simplest forms take the most time and this piece is no exception. Turned both inside and out, this bowl took patience and precision. Slowing us down, it brings us back to our roots and isn't afraid to show us where it's come from. The exposed Mortise and Tenon on the bottom of the bowl sheds light on the process of clamping onto the lathe via a four-jaw chuck. Sometimes, revealing all your secrets can be beautiful! Finished with Tried & True, a food-safe Danish Oil and polished with  the food-safe Wooden Work Surface Wax by Town Talk Polish Co. LTD. this piece is ready to be or hold a sweet treat!
